In winter, how to do fire safety and emergency self-rescue in hotels
01
Fire Prevention Code
Establish fire prevention organizations at all levels. Organization members and each employee should be familiar with fire prevention regulations and their responsibilities, and master the skills of using various fire extinguishing equipment.
Emergency evacuation maps and fire signs are hung in the guest rooms (in front of the door or at obvious places) to inform guests of the walking route in the event of a fire.
After the guest leaves the room, the waiter should pay attention to finding hidden dangers in the room when tidying up the room. Strengthen the inspection of guest rooms, especially the electrical equipment and communication equipment of long-term customers, warn guests not to overload electricity, prohibit hotel guests from using electric stoves, rice cookers or increase electrical equipment without permission, and prohibit guests from pulling wires without permission.
When guests use electric irons and other heating equipment in the room, they should be placed on special heat-insulating and fire-proof materials, and it is forbidden to put them on carpets and countertops.
It is strictly forbidden to incinerate waste paper and documents in the bathroom and balcony. Guests should be asked to incinerate and dispose of waste paper and documents at the designated and specified location of the hotel.
Open fire operations are generally not allowed in the guest rooms. If it is necessary to start construction, the operating unit should go to the security department to issue the relevant procedures. The housekeeping department, engineering department, and security department should take corresponding fire prevention measures to cooperate with the work.
Gasoline, kerosene, alcohol, sulfuric acid and other flammable materials shall not be stored in the guest room at will, and shall be kept by a designated person.
Strengthen the management of the balcony of the guest room, prohibit the stacking of inflammable and explosive materials, and prohibit the guest from setting off firecrackers in the room.
Ensure that public places such as elevator entrances, corridors and other public places maintain sufficient lighting brightness, and there are red indicators for 24 hours in key safety areas; safety doors and safety passages should be kept unobstructed. There should be fire safety lights and evacuation signs in the corridor.
The safety stairs in the guest rooms are emergency evacuation exits. It is not allowed to stack items at the entrance of the safety stairs, aisles, switchboards, etc.
Garbage should be cleared and transported on time every day. When transporting and transporting garbage outside the room, special attention should be paid to whether there are unburned cigarette butts in the garbage, which should be extinguished immediately.
It is strictly forbidden for waiters to smoke in the work area, and it is forbidden to litter cigarette butts and matchsticks.
When all electrical appliances are found to be unable to operate or use normally, or there is leakage, they cannot be used forcibly, and should be stopped immediately, and immediately reported to the engineering department for maintenance.
The staff on duty (especially the night shift) should make frequent inspections during their shifts. When they smell the smell of stickiness or burnt, they should trace the source, wake up the guests after confirming the room, and report to the leader to take emergency measures if necessary.

When a fire occurs, the waiter must quickly open the safety door and safety ladder, and organize personnel to guide the guests in a step-by-step manner. When evacuating, there must be someone commanding and guarding the stairs, intersections and gates of each floor to guide the guests.
